Recipe: Appetizing Chilled Lemon Flan Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Chilled Lemon Flan. To begin, make the base of the flan. Do this by either crushing the biscuits with a rolling pin in a bag, or using a food processor. Heat the butter in a pan on the stove and melt.

Add gelatine to hot water and stir to dissolve.

Decorate with extra thin lemon slices and lemon zest.

Ingredients of Chilled Lemon Flan

  1. You need 2 oz of Butter (Unsalted).

  2. It’s 1 of Level Tbsp Caster Sugar.

  3. You need 4 oz of Crushed Digestives.

  4. Prepare 1/4 pt of Double Cream.

  5. Prepare of Small Tin Condensed Milk.

  6. Prepare of Zest and Juice of 2 Large Lemons.

Melt butter in a pan, add sugar then blend in biscuit.

To make the base: Crush the biscuits to a powder, add sugar and mix.

To make the filling: combine yoghurt, condensed milk, lemon juice and zest and mix well.

  1. Pre-Heat Oven 150 Degrees.

  2. Lightly Butter Flan Dish.

  3. Melt Butter with the Caster Sugar, Stir in the crushed digestives then push into the bottom of the Flan dish - Bake for 8 mins - LEAVE TO COOL.

  4. Mix the Cream with Condensed Milk and add the zest of the Lemon, keep stiring and slowly add the lemon juice to avoid it separating.

  5. Pour Over the Base and Chill.

Melt the butter in a small pan on a low.

Sprinkle lemon zest over the flan mixture.
