  3. Make a syrup by heating up sugar and water until all the sugar melts and you get a thick sugar syrup..

  4. Now start making the lavang latika. Make small balls.Roll it out to make a flat circle. Place about one tablespoon full of khova stuffing at the center of the circle..

  5. Now fold each of the four sides of the circle – left, right, top & bottom – towards the stuffing enclosing it inside the dough. Seal the final fold by inserting a clove. Set it aside and make all the lavang latikas similarly..

  6. Heat enough oil in a heavy bottomed pan to deep fry the lavang latika. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat to medium-low and fry the lavang latika until golden brown. Take them out and place on a paper towel.

  7. Once the lavang latika cool down a bit, dip them in the sugar syrup and let it stand for few seconds. and take them out. The flavorful lavang latika are ready to serve!.
