Recipe: Appetizing Oats Sooji Appe Delicious, fresh and tasty.
Oats Sooji Appe. Add salt, dahi to the powdered oats and sooji mix to make the batter by adding just enough water. Add curd, mix well then add water to make batter like idli batter. Lastly add Eno and mix gently.
When cooked from one side, flip it.
When the Paniyaram/appes turn into golden color, serve hot with any chutney sauce of your choice.

Ingredients of Oats Sooji Appe

Prepare 1 cup of Powdered Oats.

You need 1 cup of Sooji/Rava(fine).

You need 1/2 cup of Curd.

You need 1 cup of finely chopped customised veggies(onion, capsicum, carrot).

It’s 3 tbsp of Oil.

Prepare Few of chopped Cashew nuts.

You need 1 tsp of Mustard seeds.

Prepare 1/2 tsp of Urad Dal.

Prepare 1/2 tsp of Eno.

Prepare As per taste of Salt.

You need as required of Water.

Prepare As required of Curry leaves.
Mix it and add water little by little to avoid lumps.
Mix it properly and the consistency should neither be thick nor to runny.
Take a sooji and curd mix well.
Then after two minutes flip side.
Oats Sooji Appe step by step

In a bowl, mix powdered oats and sooji with curd and some water. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes..

In a pan, heat oil for tempering. Now add Urad dal, once the dal turns pink, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and chopped Cashew nuts..

After 20 minutes, mix the batter nicely with some more water and make it like idli consistency. Now add the tempering and all the veggies and add salt as per taste, mix again.

Heat the appe pan and add few drops of oil in all the moulds..

Finally add the eno and give the batter a gentle mix. Pour the spoonful of batter in the appe pan..

Let it cook for 2-3 minutes or untill golden from one side. Then flip all the appe and cook for more 2 minutes on the other side..

Serve the appe with green chutney or coconut chutney..
Then roasted it both sides; Sooji appe is ready Now, heat an appe pan or paniyaram pan (Ebleskiver pan) on high.
The batter is poured in the Appe pan and cooked with little oil/ghee on both sides.
Suji Appam and relatively easy to make.
