But today I am going to share a recipe of Masala Soya Chaap in Punjabi style.

This recipe can be served with Naan, Chapatti(roti), Lacha Parantha and some Green Chutney, Sirka Pyaaz (vinegar onions), Cream Salad.

You can have Masala soya chaap using 16 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Masala soya chaap

  1. You need 6-7 of Soyachaap sticks.

  2. Prepare 1 cup of Flour (maida).

  3. You need 1 cup of Curd.

  4. Prepare 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.

  5. Prepare 1 tsp of Kashmiri chilli powder.

  6. It’s 1 tsp of Roasted cumin powder.

  7. You need 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  8. You need 1 tsp of Everest garam masala.

  9. It’s 1 tsp of Kastori Methi.

  10. Prepare 3-4 tsp of Garlic, Ginger, Green chilli paste (3G paste).

  11. It’s 1 of lemon juice.

  12. It’s 50 gms of Amul butter.

  13. You need 6-7 of spn Amul fresh cream.

  14. Prepare 1 of capsicum cube chopped.

  15. Prepare 1/2 cup of cabbage length wise chopped.

  16. Prepare As required of Salt.

Soya chaap is chaap sticks made with soybean dal flour and is widely used in South Asian cooking.

Normally the chaaps are marinated in yogurt and spices and cooked in tandoor, served as an appetizer, basically a replacement of meat protein for vegetarians.

Masala soya chaap step by step

  1. Wash soyasticks in hot water. Then remove sticks and chopped in round shape or length wise..

  2. Take a big bowl add curd, flour and all dry ingredients, butter 2-3 spn, except cabbage and capsicum mix well make a smooth better..

  3. Add soyachaap in smooth better and mix proper then freeze half and hour..

  4. Take a non-stick pan add butter then keep 1 by 1 soyachaap, then cook soyachaap both side. In a same pan again add butter saute cabbage and capsicum..

  5. Then add soyachaap saute well and keep on slow flame for 2-3 mins..

  6. Lastly add Amul Fresh Cream mix gently. Serve with Chutney and Salad..
