Dim kosha. Dim Kosha or Egg Kosha is a recipe from Bengal. It is a spicy egg curry where hard-boiled eggs are cooked in flavourful onion and tomato based gravy. Eggs are always the easy answer for empty pantry and busy day outs.
These are braised with spices on medium heat along with potatoes for a spicy, tangy gravy that has a gravy of thick consistency.

Dim kosha step by step

Boil eggs in a pressure cooker with 1 whistle..

Clean the egg.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add bay leaves and whole garam masala..

Now add all ingredients except garam masala..

Cook until masala release oil..

Add 1 cup water.

Add egg and cook add garam masala powder..

And the delicious dim kosha is ready to serve.
It is slightly different from Dim er Dalna or Everyday Egg Curry.
Dim er Kosha is spicier, tastier and thicker than regular Dimer Jhol.
While jhol is more watery kosha is mainly oil based.
