Making of Curd poha is actually easier than regular curd rice.

You can have Curd poha using 9 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Curd poha

  1. It’s 1 Cup of poha.

  2. Prepare 1 Cup of curd.

  3. You need 1 of green chilie.

  4. It’s 1/2 spoon of zeera powder.

  5. You need leaves of Few curry.

  6. You need leaves of Few coriander.

  7. You need of Few pomegranate.

  8. Prepare of Few cashew nuts.

  9. It’s to taste of Salt.

Oggarane or Tempering for Curd Avalakki or Poha: Heat a frying pan, pour Ghee, add Raisins and Cashew nuts.

Fry until the nuts turn golden brown.

Use a spoon to transfer the Raisins and Cashews to the Curd-Poha.

Finally add a tempering of mustard seeds,urad dal,curry leaves,chana dal and cashew nuts all fried in oil.

Curd poha instructions

  1. First wash the poha in water and drain the water.

  2. Then add a cup of curd to the poha and soak it for 3-5 mins.

  3. Then add green chilli which are finely chopped and 1/2 spoon jeera powder, salt to taste, curry leaves and coriander leaves and mix well.

  4. Garnish with some pommegranet and cashew nuts.

  5. Your curd poha is ready, serve with pickles.

In a big mixing bowl, take this drained Poha and mix with chopped cucumber, grated Coconut, pomegranate seeds, curd, salt and sugar.

Heat a tadka pan on medium heat and melt the ghee.

Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, peanuts and chopped green chilies.

Stir fry for a minute and pour this tempering over the Poha and mix well.

Mosaru avalakki or curd poha is very soothing and makes the tummy comfortable.
