The tasty masala is made from onion, capsicum and tomatoes with flavor of pav bhaji masala.

Ingredients of Masala idles

  1. You need 1/2 kg of Idli batter.

  2. It’s 4 of Boiled potatoes mashed.

  3. It’s 1 cup of Chopped onions.

  4. You need to taste of Chilli paste.

  5. It’s 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder.

  6. It’s 2 tsp of Tadaka oil.

  7. It’s 1/2 cup of Curry leaves chopped ginger pieces 1 tsp.

  8. Prepare 1 tsp of ginger pieces.

Masala idli is a simple and easy snack.

This is one of my favorite ways to serve masala idli.

Adding the stir-fry salad to idli makes a very versatile dish.

You can serve this as lunch, snack or salad.

Masala idles step by step

  1. Heat the fry pan put oil add tadka on it when its splits put onions.

  2. Keep statue once onions becomes transparent add ginger, curry leaves,turmeric paste.

  3. Then add mashed potatoes and salt chilli paste mix well all those masala is ready to stuff.

  4. Take idli plate apply ghee on plate pour batter on bottom put 2 tsp masala on top of batter again put idli batter on top of curry.

  5. Steam 20 min in idli cooker,after then chill cut slice serve with chutney,ready to serve.

To make masala idli I am using the rava idli witch is quick and easy to make.

Mix gently so the masala is coated to each and every piece, so as not to break them.

Serve masala idli hot as a snack or as a breakfast or with a hot cup of tea.
