Beans Porridge is a delicacy in Nigeria, it is one of those Nigerian foods that are loved by every Nigerian.
I really like the taste of porridge beans especially when it is made with ripe plantain, I only learned recently to fry the plantain instead of the old way of adding them to the cooking beans.
Porridge beans with fried plantain instructions

Pick stones and dirty from beans.

Cook beans till a little but soft and remove water.

Put back in the pot,add onions,pepper and seasoning and allow to cook..

Add palm oil and leaved to cook making the water dry little by little. Then break beans with spoon, allow to simmer and your meal is ready.

Fry plantain to enjoy the beans.
Ingredients Used: Beans Stew: Black eyed beans Mackerel Koobi(salted fish) Momone(rotten fish) Onions Pepper Ginger Garlic Tomatoes Tomatoe paste Zomi Palm O.
The pot should be partially closed.
Serve Beans Pottage with Fried Plantain, Boiled Plantain, Yam, Rice, Bread, Garri (Cassava flakes) or stand alone.
You can also serve the Beans pottage with no palm oil.
