Ingredients of Susla / Pori Upma

You need 4 cups of Puffed rice.

You need 2 tb of spn oil.

Prepare of Mustard seeds.

Prepare of Cumin seeds.

Prepare of Asafoetida.

You need 1/4 cup of peanuts.

Prepare 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion.

It’s 2 of green chillies cut in to long pieces.

It’s 5-6 of Curreyleaves.

You need 1/4 cup of finely chopped tomatoes.

It’s 1/2 t of spn turmeric powder.

Prepare of Cumin - coriander powder 1-1t spn.

It’s of Kala masala / garam masala 1/2 t spn.

Prepare 1/4 cup of crushed roasted gram dal.

Susla / Pori Upma step by step

Wash puffed rice and Keep it in strainer. Drain the excess water through the strainer..

Heat oil in kadhai and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and Asafoetida in it. Add peanuts in it and saute it till it turns golden brown. Then add chopped onion in it and saute it. Add green chillies, Curreyleaves and chopped tomatoes in it and saute all together..

Add turmeric powder,cumin - coriander powder, salt, sugar and garam masala in it..

Add puffed rice, and roasted gram dal powder in it, mix it well..

Cover with lid and cook it for 3-4 minutes..

Add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot..
