  1. You need 2 cup of Rice (your choice).

  2. Prepare 4 cup of water.

  3. It’s 1/4 slice of Onion cut in half.

  4. It’s 8 oz of Can Tomato sauce (I only use half of this).

  5. Prepare 2 tbsp of Chiken bouillon.

  6. It’s 2 tbsp of Cooking oil.

The only difference is we never added any chilli powder.

  3. When the rice gets a golden color (not to brown just a bit golden) add the water, tomato sauce, chiken bouillon and mix well.

  4. Wait until the water is boiling and then cover and cook at low tempeture.

  5. Let it cook like this for 13-15 min but keep an eye on it.

  6. after about 13 min check if the rice still have water you might dont see more water on the top so use a fork and check the bottom on the pan.

  7. Rice will be ready when the water is all gone and rice is soft let the rice rest for 5 min and then serve hot.

Tomatoes, onion, garlic, and some added the chili while others left it out.

Then I came across arroz Mexicano, or in English, Mexican rice.

These recipes seemed pretty much the same with one exception.

Warm the oil in a large cooking pot over a medium heat.
