Tomato Rasam(Khatti _Mithi). Tomato rasam Tamatar ka khatta Tomato rasam is a south Indian recipe which is served with hot rice or Idli. Its a simple recipe which is easy to prepare yet tasty. Its also healthy and easy to digest.

Rasam can also be well-known as thakkali rasam, chaaru, saaru and kabir.

It is among the certain recipe in Kerala.

South Indian Tomato Rasam - Soup, Stew, Yakhni Wash the tomatoes, boil them with the water and slat till soft, then mash.

You can cook Tomato Rasam(Khatti _Mithi) using 18 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Tomato Rasam(Khatti _Mithi)

  1. It’s 3 of tomatoes grinded.

  2. You need 1 pinch of haldi.

  3. You need 1 tsp of readymade Rasam powder.

  4. It’s 1 tbsp of jaggery(gur).

  5. It’s 1 of tomato puree.

  6. You need 1 tsp of ginger and green chilli paste.

  7. Prepare of Coriander leaves finely chopped.

  8. You need 1 tsp of butter.

  9. You need 1 tsp of lemon juice or to taste.

  10. It’s 1 tsp of desi ghee.

  11. Prepare to taste of Salt acd.

  12. You need 1 tsp of crushed black pepper.

  13. Prepare 1 tsp of oil.

  14. You need A few of curry leaves.

  15. Prepare 1 tsp of mustard seeds (rai).

  16. Prepare 1 of /2 tsp zeera.

  17. You need 1 pinch of hing.

  18. It’s 3 cup of water.

Grind cumin seeds, pepper, garlic coarsely, without any water and add to the tomato mixture.

Whether it is tomato rasam, tamarind rasam, lemon rasam or a whole other variety, I am totally in awe how each rasam variety is so simple in it's preparations.

  1. Tomato water all ingredients achhe se mix karein or high flame p 1 ubal aane de..

  2. Cook for 10 min in low flame..

  3. Tadke ke lie pan mein ghee oil garam karein.Rai zeera hing ko tadkaye or black pepper mix kar Rasam mein add karein..

  4. Mix lemon juice and garnish with butter and coriander leaves..
