Poha badam ladoo. Poha Ladoo is a Traditional Indian mithai made quickly. It is exceptionally easy to prepare but tastes simply awesome, with the rich and rustic flavours of jaggery and melted ghee. Dry roast the poha slowly and carefully till the raw smell goes.

It’s of Poha.

It’s of jaggery.

It’s of badam/almonds.

Prepare of cashewnuts.

It’s of raisins.

Prepare of ghee.

Prepare of elachi powder.
I used thick poha, you can use any variety you have either thick / thin or even red aval.
Make sure to roast the poha well else it will give a raw taste.
Adding fried gram dal gives a nice flavour to the ladoos.

Take a pan add poha dry fry till it become crispy and changes colour then take it into plate and let it cool..

In the same pan add 2 tsp of ghee let it heat for a second then add cashew nuts, raisins fry it till changes colour and raisins turns fluffy and take it into cup..

Take a mixer jar add fried Poha/atukulu and badam, grind it to fine powder..

To the same jar add elachi powder and powdered palm jaggery and grind it to fine powder..

Take the above powder into plate add fried nuts and raisins along with ghee. and start moulding ladoos..
