Take a bowl, add maida, salt, ghee and mix well. Add water little by little to make a soft dough.

Make a sugar syrup, add 1cup of water and 2cup of sugar, 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and boil until 1 string consistency and add edible orange colour.

From the dough, make lemon sized balls and roll of puri size and fold it in half twice to form a triangular discs and roll the triangular discs again and prick with fork on both sides of the disc.

Heat the oil in a pan for deep frying, put the rolled discs into the hot oil and fry till golden brown.

Dip the fried discs into sugar syrup for a min and its ready to serve and eat.
