You can have Khoya Khopra Barfi using 7 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Khoya Khopra Barfi

  1. You need 2 Cup of Dry coconut powder.

  2. Prepare 1 1/2 cup of Homemade khoya.

  3. It’s 1/2 cup of milk.

  4. Prepare 4-5 Tsp of ghee.

  5. It’s 1 1/2 cup of sugar.

  6. Prepare 1 1/2 cup of water.

  7. You need 1/2 cup of finely sliced dry fruits.

It is a very easy recipe.

The firmest khoya with no moisture is hard and usually moulded or shaped into small bricks called pindi that is used to make sweets like burfi and laddu.

Milk burfi, also known as khoya burfi is a classic Indian sweet that can be served both as a dessert or snack.

Milk Burfi is made with milk, sugar, and flavored with cardamom.

Khoya Khopra Barfi step by step

  1. Take a flat vessel and apply ghee to its bottom for setting the barfi..

  2. Take a heavy vessel, add ghee, roast mava for few minutes, keep it light coloured only. Slightly cool it and grind it for smooth texture..

  3. Take another vessel and make 1 string consistency sugar syrup, add ghee to it and add coconut powder. Mix continuously so that it doesn’t sticks to the vessel..

  4. Add soft khoya to it and add some milk for smooth consistency. Keep stirring continuously for even mixture..

  5. When the mixture starts getting thick, pour it to ghee spreaded flat vessel when still warm. Make it smooth with the help of water and another flat plate. Add cardamom powder And sliced dryfruits..

  6. Make light marks when warm and cool it to let it set. Take out softly and serve when ever u want..

  7. For keeping it longer, store in fridge..

Finish it with a garnish of sliced pistachios and you have a simply divine treat!
