  1. In a pot, add water, sugar, ghee and food colour. Turn on the flame to low and keep stirring till the sugar dissolves. No crystals should be seen at the bottom of the pot. Now turn off the flame, remove the pot from the stove, immediately add the coconut and combine well. Once well combined, quickly transfer into a greased pan and using the back of a flat spoon, press and set the top layer. Let it cool and dry for about a day before cutting into pieces..

Then set in the pan to cool.

Then cut into pieces and eat.
