Easiest Way to Cooking Yummy Egg kothu chapati Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Egg kothu chapati. Egg Kothu Roti / Kothu Chapati with Egg, a quick and easy indian recipe for dinner or serve it as evening snacks. Shredded roti pieces are cooked together with scrambled egg masala. The recipe is very simple and doesn't require much time to cook.

Kothu parotta is one of the famous street food which all of us love.

This is simple version of the same using chapati.

Scramble eggs: Beat egg well and add some salt into it and beat again.

You can cook Egg kothu chapati using 14 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you cook it.

Ingredients of Egg kothu chapati

  1. You need 4 of chapatis.

  2. Prepare 3 of eggs.

  3. Prepare 2 tsp of fennel powder.

  4. It’s 2 of onions (chopped).

  5. You need 1 of tomato (chopped).

  6. You need 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.

  7. It’s 1 tbspn of green chilli (chopped).

  8. You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.

  9. It’s 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.

  10. Prepare 1/4 tsp of garam masala.

  11. You need 1/2 tsp of pepper powder.

  12. You need 4 tbspn of oil.

  13. Prepare To taste of salt.

  14. You need 2 tbspn of coriander leaves (chopped).

Place a pan on flame pour oil, then pour the beaten egg into it and scramble well, remove from flame & set aside.

Now to make the kothu chapati, place a kadai on flame and pour oil into it.

I wanted to try the hotel style kothu parotta recipe…it is one in my totry list since long.

Egg kothu chapati instructions

  1. Keep all ingredients ready. Tear the chapati into small pieces. Set aside..

  2. Heat oil in a pan add fennel powder, onion and green chillies. Saute till translucent..

  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell disappears. Add tomatoes and cook till mushy..

  4. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala. Mix well..

  5. Add salt enough for this masala. Pour little water and boil..

  6. Add the chapati and mix well..

  7. Set aside in the pan. Add a tbspn oil and break open the eggs..

  8. Add salt and pepper powder for the eggs..

  9. Scramble the eggs and when half done mix everything so it sticks to the chapati..

  10. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot..

I have tried kothu parotta few times without salna, it tasted good but it did not match the hotel taste so this time I prepared a easy salna to add it to kothu chapathi.

Egg Kothu chapati, for egg Kothu chapati, fry the egg first and keep aside. now follow all the steps. once made the Kothu chapati finely add the egg and toss it.
