Ingredients of Chicken_kaleiji

  1. You need 1/2 kg of chicken kaleji/ liver.

  2. You need to taste of 🔹Salt.

  3. It’s of 🔹1 tsp. red chilli powder.

  4. It’s of 🔹1 tsp. turmeric powder.

  5. It’s of 🔹1 tsp. coriander powder.

  6. It’s of 🔹1tbsp ginger garlic paste.

  7. It’s of 🔹1 tsp. cumin seeds.

  8. Prepare of 🔹1 tsp. all spices powder (garam masala).

  9. Prepare of 🔹3 grinded tomatoes.

  10. You need of 🔹1/4 cup oil.

  11. It’s of 🔹2 tbsp. lemon juice.

  12. You need of 🔹3-4 chopped green chilies.

  13. It’s of 🔹Green coriander for garnishing.

Chicken masala livers is a traditional spicy and sour dish.

In order to make soft chicken liver, add salt in the end of the dish as I did in the recipe.

Clean the liver and soak in milk overnight.

Heat butter or oil in a frying pan, add cumin seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns.

Chicken_kaleiji step by step

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Stir fry ginger and garlic paste for few seconds and then add chicken kaleji/ liver in it. When liver changes it colour then add tomato paste, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder and all spices powder..

  2. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes. When liver gets soft and water dries up then add lemon juice and green chilies..

  3. At this stage kaleji will leave oil. Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot…

Now put the chicken Kaleji and give it a nice stir so that all the spices will blend nicely and keep for few mins.

After few mins put salt and vatan according to the gravy consistency,and give a slow stir.

Stir fry ginger and garlic paste for few seconds and then add chicken kaleji/ liver in it.

When liver changes it color then add tomato paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder and all spices powder.

Here, I have used Mutton Kaleji, but you can instead use Chicken Kaleji too.
