Place a saute pan in the stove. Switch on the flame. Add oil..

Once the oil gets heat add mustard seeds, bengal gram dal and urad dal. Fry it..

Add Onions,curry leaves and green chillies. Saute till onions becomes translucent..

Then add tomatoes, turmeric powder and little salt. Mix well and add some water. Cover and cook till tomatoes becomes mushy..

Add the rice noodles/ santhagai. Keep tha flame low and mix well. Check for salt. Add if needed..

Garnish with coriander leaves. Now its ready to serve..

Serve with peanut chutney or green coconut chutney or red coconut chutney..
