Recipe: At Home Two Millets Dhokla Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Two Millets Dhokla. Dhokla is a Gujratian Snack recipe. It can be serve as a snack or in breakfast or as a main course. It is made with fermented rice and chal dal batter.

Grease two small plates and pour the batter in them.

Tap the plates so that the batter spreads evenly.

Take a piece of dhokla, apply green chutney and cover with another piece.

You can have Two Millets Dhokla using 15 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Two Millets Dhokla

  1. It’s 1/2 cup of finger millet(ragi flour).

  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of sorgham flour(jowar flour).

  3. It’s 2 tbs of Bombay rava.

  4. You need 2 tbs of cheakpea flour.

  5. You need 1 tbs of green chilli and ginger paste.

  6. Prepare 1/4 tsp of cooking soda.

  7. It’s Pinch of sugar.

  8. Prepare to taste of Salt.

  9. You need 1 cup of curd.

  10. It’s 1 tsp of eno salt.

  11. Prepare 1/2 TBS of mustard seeds.

  12. Prepare 1/2 TBS of cummin seeds.

  13. You need 10-12 of curry leaves.

  14. Prepare 4-5 of green chillies.

  15. It’s 1 tbs of oil.

Repeat the same for the remaining dhoklas.

Serve millet dhokla with green chutney and tomato sauce or tamarind dates chutney.

How to make Millet Rava Dhokla.

I have used multi millet flour to prepare this healthy and yummy dhokla.

Two Millets Dhokla step by step

  1. In a bowl take ragi flour, jowar flour, rava and cheakpea flour..

  2. Add chilli ginger paste and pinch sugar and salt. Mix well.

  3. Know add curd and mix well.Give 10 mins rest.

  4. Heat steamer to steam the dhokla..

  5. Grease mould.

  6. Add eno salt into the batter give a mix, and immediately transfer the batter to the mould, and keep it into steamer..

  7. Steam it for 15 mins. Once done take it out..

  8. Mix little sugar into water and sprinkle sugar water on the dhokla. It helps dhokla to b soft..

  9. Give tadka with mustard seeds, cummin seeds, curry leaves and with green chillies.And pour tadka on dhokla..

  10. Cut into desired shapes and serve..

Millets like ragi, bajra, jowar, samai, thinai, kuthirvali, and varagu were used to prepare millet flour.

Leave the mixture to ferment overnight.

Pour the batter into the plates and fit them into the stand.

Anything Dhokla, I would just drool over.
