Recipe: Yummy Minced Mutton Samosa Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Minced Mutton Samosa. If you are vegetarian, replace the lamb mince for a Quorn or soya protein alternative and you will have an equally tasty dish. How you vary this recipe rests with your imagination! I have used minced goat meat to make these crispy Samosas.

Serve Mutton Keema Samosa with Iraini Chai or Sulaimani Chai.

This is a Tea time snack but can also be served as starter.

Ingredients of Minced Mutton Samosa

  1. It’s 1 kg of mutton minced.

  2. It’s 1 of medium size onion sliced.

  3. It’s to taste of Salt.

  4. Prepare of Red chilli powder 1 &1/2 teaspoon.

  5. Prepare Handful of coriander leaves.

  6. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala.

  7. You need 2 tablespoon of Ginger garlic paste.

  8. You need 3 of green chillies.

  9. It’s Pinch of dry methi (it enhance the taste).

  10. It’s 4 tablespoon of oil.

How to make mince samoosa filling.

Our meat samosas are similar to Indian Keema Samosa, although we don't add any peas or potato to the minced meat.

Dry fry the minced meat (beef or lamb) until no liquid reminds.

This mutton samosa, is a crispy in the outside and soft in the inside.

Minced Mutton Samosa instructions

  1. Marinate minced mutton with ginger garlic paste and leave it for 15 mins.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan, add onions and let them cook till golden brown.

  3. When onion turns brown add marinated minced to it and let it cook good 10 mins on a high flame.

  4. Now add salt, red chilli, green chillies and let the cook it on a medium flame till the water dries..

  5. Now add pinch of dry methi and coriander..

  6. Cook it for another 5-7 mins and off the flame.

  7. Let it cool down completely..

  8. Then take Samosa patties (store bought or homemade).

  9. Fill it and wrap it in a shape of Samosa…..

  10. Wrap all the patties in a Samosa shape and fry it till golden brown….

  11. Your samosa’s are ready to serve now. Serve it with ketchup, mint Chutney or raw mango chutney..

  12. Serve like a stater, side dish, tea snack, winter snack or evening snack..

This filling is cooked meat along with onions and a few masala like red chili powder and garam masala.
