In a bowl, take gram flour, add salt, turmeric, ajwain, baking soda and mix. Then add warm oil and mix properly so that the oil is mixed with all the flour..

Add little water and knead a semi-soft dough..

Make small cylindrical shapes from the dough. Take 1 portion and place it on the rolling board and press it..

Now using your palm, stretch it thin in the upward direction..

Scrape off with the help of sharp knife..

Now deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium. Fry till they turn golden..

For besan chutney, in a bowl take gram flour, add salt, sugar, turmeric and water 5 times that of gram flour. Mix well making sure there are no lumps..

Further, in a pan add oil and mustard seeds. Let it splutter then add chilli slit, curry leaves, hing and the prepared besan mixture. Stir continuously so that the besan does not stick to the pan..

Let it cook for 2-3 minutes then add lemon juice and again cook for 1-2 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame..
