The delicious vegetarian recipe is made with mix of healthy winter greens that are cooked till wilted, then pureed to a coarse mix and eaten with a rustic makki di roti or corn meal flatbread.

Sarso ka saag instructions

  1. In a big bowl wash and chopped saag with spinach.

  2. Now in pressure cooker add with saag,spinach and coriander leaves with ASAFETIDA and salt only.

  3. Now boil it and have three to four whistles.

  4. Grind it with hand blender.

  5. For tadka- in a pan roast cumin seeds+ginger+garlic.

  6. Make them golden and put onion.

  7. Roast it then add tomatoes with all the spices.

  8. Make proper tadka spreading oil all around.

  9. Other side boil and grinded saag again boil after adding makki ka atta.for 10 to 12 minute.

  10. Now add tadka and mix well then again stir for 5 minute enough.

  11. Yummy delicious saag is ready.
