  3. Prepare of Ginger garlic paste.

  4. Prepare of Lemon juice.

What is the difference between Shahi Paneer and Paneer Korma?

While Paneer Korma uses yogurt and cashews as its base for the gravy, Shahi Paneer uses tomatoes as the base of its gravy, making it a little sweeter.

Also, Paneer Korma is white or yellow in color, while Shahi Paneer has a red/orange hint to it.

White Paneer Korma step by step

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams Paneer, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons and mix it well..

  2. Marinate for 30 minutes..

  3. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons oil, add 140 grams onions and saute for 3 - 5 minutes..

  4. Now, blend it into a smooth paste..

  5. In a mixing bowl, add 2 tablespoons cashews, 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, 2 tsp peanut, 1/4 cup water and soak for 20 minutes..

  6. Then, blend it into a smooth paste..

  7. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 bay leaf, 1 mace, 3 pods green cardamom, 3 pods cloves, 1 pod black cardamom and saute 2 - 3 m minutes..

  8. Now, add onions paste and cook 2 - 3 minutes..

  9. Then, add marinated paneer and cook 3 - 5 minutes..

  10. Add 3 green chilli, 240 grams yogurt and mix it well..

  11. Now, add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg and mix it..

  12. Then, add 1/2 cup milk and Cover it with lid and cook for 8 - 10 minutes..

  13. Add. Cashews paste, 60 grams fresh cream and mix it well..

  14. Garnish with coriander..

  15. Serve..
