  1. It’s 100 gm of black channa(soak in water for 10 hours).

  2. You need 6 of green chilli.

  3. It’s 2 of red chilli for seasoning.

  4. It’s 1/2 inch of ginger.

  5. You need 3 tablespoon of grated coconut.

  6. You need 1/2 tablespoon of mustard for seasoning.

  7. It’s 1/4 tablespoon of cumin seeds for seasoning.

  8. You need 1/2 tablespoon of asafoetida powder for seasoning.

  9. It’s As needed of Curry and coriander leaves for garnish.

  10. It’s 10 ml of cooking oil.

  11. You need to taste of Salt.

Black chana Sundal instructions

  1. Cook soaked chanawith 500 ml water in a pressure cooker.once first whistle came keep it for 7 minutes in a medium flame manner.

  2. After the pressure released drain the excess water..

  3. In a small mixer jar add green chilli,ginger,grated coconut,just crushed it a coarse mixture and keep aside.

  4. Take a pan pour oil in it,once get heat seasoning it with mustard,cumin seeds,asafoetida,red chilli.

  5. Add drained channa,coarse mixture,salt to it,fry for 5 minutes.

  6. Garnish it with curry and coriander leaves.
