Easiest Way to Diet Tasty Chana dal barfi Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Chana dal barfi. This delicious Indian barfi is made from Bengal gram, Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee, and desiccated coconut. Soaked and ground chana dal flour, roasted patiently in ghee, is cooked into a delicious barfi with hot milk and minimum amount of ghee and sugar. A dash of desi spices gives the Chana Dal Barfi a fabulous flavour that none can resist.

In a mixer jar add the soaked chana dal and grind it into a paste.

Keep the paste aside until needed again.

Put a deep-bottomed pan on low flame and heat ghee in it.

You can cook Chana dal barfi using 5 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Chana dal barfi

  1. It’s 1 cup of chana dal.

  2. Prepare 3 cups of milk.

  3. You need to taste of Sugar.

  4. It’s 4 tsp of ghee.

  5. You need 1 of cardamom.

Then add the prepared chana dal paste in it.

I fell in love with this chana dal burfi since the day I made it for the first time.

Once soaked well, put dal in sieve, drain extra water.

Spread dal over cloth and wipe it.

Chana dal barfi instructions

  1. Wash chana dal and make it dry with a cloth.

  2. Now take a pan,add two table spoon ghee and add chana dal,cook it till it becomes crispy and changes colour,ghee will left here.

  3. Let it cool down and grind it in grinder by adding cardamom into it.

  4. Now take a wok or pan, add sugar and milk into it and let the milk boil and mix the sugar into it.

  5. After bringing it to one boil, add dal paste that is grinded in grinder and add remaining ghee that was left add that in milk now and 1 tsp ghee more.

  6. Cook it untill it becomes thick Its done.

  7. Take a big plate and apply ghee on the pan and spread the mixture on plate and cut it into desired shape.

  8. Now garnish it with almonds.

Peel and coarsely grind the cardamom as.

Some time back, an idea came to my mind to make barfi from roasted dal because by using it we will not f.
