First well prepare chane aloo Subzi. Soak black chickpeas for 5-6 hous. Now chop potato and keep it aside. Then take tomatoes, green chillies, ginger in mixture jar and blend them. Now add ghee in a cooker, heat it and add asafoetida, cumin seeds. When they start to crackle add tomato mixture and fry to 2 minutes..
