  3. You need 1 Cup of Chana (Gram).

  4. It’s 2 Tbsp of Piri Piri masala.

  5. Prepare 1 Tsp of Salt (as per taste).

  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Kasoori methi powder(dry fenugreek).

  7. Prepare 2 Tbsp of Ghee.

Traditionally, bird's eye chili peppers are used.

I like to add it into hummus, pour it over Buddha bowls, use it as a dip…the possibilities are endless.

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a wok. Take bigger wok for easy tossing..

  2. Now add laai, peanuts and grams. Now toss them lightly at low medium flame until it gets lightly covered with ghee for easy sticking of masalas..

  3. Now add piri piri, dry fenugreek and salt. Mix well and switch off gas..

  4. Add 1 tbsp ghee on top and mix well. Raw ghee from top gives good aroma and has numerous health benefits. Mix well..

  5. Let it cool. Store in air tight container and can be consumed for 2-3 months easily..

This chana butter masala gravy is our absolutely family favourite.

I usually make PBM and for a change made this gravy using the same base recipe and chana, it turned out super delicious.
