Chana Dal Burfi. This delicious Indian barfi is made from Bengal gram, Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee, and desiccated coconut. Soaked and ground chana dal flour, roasted patiently in ghee, is cooked into a delicious barfi with hot milk and minimum amount of ghee and sugar. A dash of desi spices gives the Chana Dal Barfi a fabulous flavour that none can resist.
Once soaked well, put dal in sieve, drain extra water.

You need 1 cup of chana dal (washed and soaked overnight).

Add milk and keep cooking in low medium flame until boiled..

Now cool down a bit then make a paste of it in a blending jar..

Now keep cooking in low medium flame for 10 mins..

Now add rock sugar powder and keep mixing until well combined or sugar is melted..

After 5-7mins add cardamom powder again mix well. When the mixture becomes a dough switch off flame pour in a greased tray, spread with a spoon..

When cooled down cut into desired shape..and enjoy!.
