Chana dry. Dry chana is a delicious stir fried dish made with chickpeas, spices & herbs. It goes very well with rice or chapathi. I usually make this delicious Restaurant style chana masala which is our family favorite.
This dry chana recipe is super simple to make and tastes amazing with the right amount and combination of spices.
In the Hindi language, it is known as sukha kala chana (sukhe kale chane).
Here sukha or sukhe means 'dry'.

Prepare 1 Cup of - Chana (Soaked and boiled).

You need 1 tbsp of Garlic and Red chilli powder paste.

It’s 1 tbsp of coriander powder.

Prepare 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder.

Prepare leaves of Few curry.

It’s to taste of Salt.

You need leaves of Few coriander.

It’s as required of Oil.

You need 1/2 cup of besan.

Prepare 1 pinch of asfoitida.
Dry kala chana masala sabji (sukhe kale chane) is a great Indian side dish made from brown chickpeas.
It is generally served as snacks but also can be eaten with roti.
This tangy tasty dry black chana curry is quite easy to make.
Rinse the chickpeas and soak them overnight.

Take a pan, add oil, garlic and red chilli paste, asfoitida, turmeric powder and curry leaves. Mix it properly. Add coriander powder.

Add boiled chana in that. Add salt and cover it. Let it cook for some time..

After some time add besan in it..

Mix it properly. Cook till it become dry. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with Rice and Kadhi..
Wash again and place them in a large pot of water.
Cover and simmer for an hour or until they are tender.
Skim the water regularly because this bean produces foam when boiled.
Storage Remember to store the dried chickpeas in a dry, cool place.
Start by rinsing your chickpeas thoroughly under cold water before adding the beans to a saucepan and covering with a couple of inches of water.
