Roasted Chana Dal Chutney instructions

  1. Collect all the ingredients..

  2. Take a mixture jar add all the ingredients. Blend it well..

  3. If needed add 1-2 tsp water..

  4. Transfer it in a bowl. Add salt. Mix it well. Chutney is ready..

Remove from vessel and keep aside.

Remove onto a serving bowl and serve with tiffins like Dosa or Idli.

Since we usually rush through the mornings, I don't quite prepare both the Sambhar & the Chutney (although I'd love to do that someday), so usually I make a simple Coconut & Coriander Chutney or the Curry Leaves (Kadipatta) Chutney, but I recently tasted this Roasted Chana Dal Chutney that adds that extra taste that roasted gram imparts.
