  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of salt.

  8. It’s 2 of egg yolks.

  9. It’s 1/2 cup of bread crumbs.

  10. Prepare 3 dash of worcestershire sauce.

  11. It’s 3 tbsp of green pepper diced.

  12. Prepare 1 small of onion diced.

  13. Prepare 3 of garlic cloves minced.

  14. You need 1/4 cup of butter.

  15. Prepare 1/3 cup of flour.

  16. Prepare 1 can of cream of mushroom.

  17. It’s 1/2 cup of sour cream.

  18. You need 4 cup of water.

  19. You need 2 tbsp of chopped parsley.

  20. Prepare 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg.

Tender handmade meatballs made from scratch along with a rich, creamy sauce are absolutely delicious and are a definite family favorite!.

Swedish Meatballs My Way instructions

  1. Put 4 cups of water in measuring cup and add 1 envelope of onion soup mix and set aside. Cook onions, green pepper till soft add garlic cook for 1 min. Set aside to cool off..

  2. In bowl mix together ground beef,Sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, 1 onion soup mix, egg yolks, bread crumbs, nutmeg, Worcestershire and onion mixture. Shape meatballs to your preference..

  3. In a large pan heat up 1 tablespoon olive oil cook meatballs in batches till done about 6-7 min. Remove from pan..

  4. In same pan melt butter add flour cook till butter turns brown add onion soup mix/ water mixture (use strainer and strain out dried onions) add cream of mushroom soup and sour cream and dash off pepper and parsley. Bring to simmer add meatballs and cook on low for 10 min. Serve with egg noodles..

This was so good - it vaguely reminds me of the Swedish meatballs my mother used to make whenever there was a party.

I didn't have time for "day-old" bread so I lightly toasted two slices and crumbled those with the cream.
