Chicken Embotido. Embutido is a type of Filipino steamed meatloaf. Today, we are featuring Chicken Embutido, which is a meatloaf made from ground chicken. This recipe is simple and hassle-free.

Once the chicken embutido mixture is ready, I started wrapping it in foil.

The boiled eggs that were sliced into wedges (or quartered) were placed in the middle of the mixture.

It helps make the dish look pretty later on.

Ingredients of Chicken Embotido

  2. Prepare of grated carrot.

  3. You need of minced onion.

  4. It’s of bread crumbs.

Chicken embutido is a Pinoy version of meatloaf using ground chicken.

This recipe is easy to make, just combining all the ingredients, wrapping it in an aluminum foil and steaming it.

You can even put it in your freezer for future consumption when you crave for a meatloaf or just lazy to cook.

Chicken Embotido step by step

  1. Mix all ingredients except hard boil egg and hotdogs.

  2. Cut aluminum foil into squares. Place a cup of chicken mixture and spread on the other end of aluminum foil..

  3. Arrange hard boiled eggs and hotdog in the middle of the flattened mixture..

  4. Carefuly fold the end of the foil to close the other end of the mixture. Make sure that the eggs and hotdogs are in the center of the mixture. Secure both ends of the aluminum foil..

  5. Repeat until all chicken mixture consumed. Arrange rolled mixture in steamer and steam for 1 hour. Check if a toothpick will come out clean then its cooked.

Chicken and Pork Embutido is a good dish to make during the holidays.

It is rich, delicious, and very satisfying.
