Then add moong daal,leaves, salt and cook till half done.

Ingredients of Sajana sagaa bhaja

  1. You need 5-6 cups of drumstick / moringa leaves.

  2. Prepare 1/4 cup of moong dal.

  3. You need 2 tsp of mustard oil.

  4. You need 3/4 tsp of panch phoron.

  5. It’s 10-12 cloves of garlic.

  6. You need 1 of dry red chilli.

  7. Prepare to taste of Salt.

Add coconut and cook Take a deep pan.cook the kalama saga with salt as required. (Less salt is preferred in leafy vegetables).

When it's half cooked remove from flame and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add dry chili, add the crushed garlic, fry it till its turns golden brown ,add onion slices to it and fry it till it turns red.

Sajana sagaa bhaja instructions

  1. Remove the leaves of moringa from the branches..

  2. Boil the moong dal with a little salt and water and keep them aside..

  3. Heat a Kadai and put oil in it. Then put the punch photon in it. When the mustard from the punch photon starts cracking then add the garlic cloves which are mashed slightly and also add the dry chilli..

  4. When all the mustard crackles and the garlic cloves change its colour then add the washed moringa /drumstick leaves in it..

  5. Mix it well and then add salt and boiled moong dal in it and mix it well..

  6. Again cook it for 3-4 minutes without covering any lid. After that it is now ready and switch off the flame..

  7. Serve hot with rice, dal as a side dish..
