Wash clean and cut the snakegourd. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. When it splutters add chana dal, udad dal, red chilli, haldi. When the tadka turns golden, add the snakegourd. You can add curry leaves in tadka or grind it with the coconut..

Cook the snakegourd with the pan closed for 5 minutes. Mix the vegetable in between..

Once the snakegourd are cooked, add salt the ground coconut and mix well. Saute it without lid for 2 minutes so that the coconut is slightly cooked. Garnish with fresh shredded coconut and serve 😋.
