Wash the rice - Wash the rice until the water runs clear.

Make the dry masala - put the fennel, green cardamom, bay leaf and cinnamon in a spice grinder and whizz to get a fine powder.

  5. Add the coconut milk here now,cover cook 5 minutes.

  6. Add washed soaked rice now.

  7. Add water enough as per your measure of rice and some gravy in prawns.

  8. Cooked covered on slow.

  9. Check when rice is done remove cover,top it with ghee,lightly fold in.

  10. Take it out in serving bowl,garnish with coriander.
