In a same pan add mustard oil and shallow fry the hilsha fish and keep aside..

In a same pan add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed and allow to crackle. Add ginger paste cumin powder, turmeric and kashmiri red chilli powder and saute till the raw aroma disappear. Add green chilli and mustard seed paste and saute for a while. Add hot water 1 cup and also add fish and boil for 5 -10 min..
