Masaledaar Chicken step by step

Clean and Marinate the chicken overnight with black pepper, jeera powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and vinegar.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions and garlic. Once fried allow it to cool and form a paste.

Add some cumin seeds and bay leaves to the oil and add the above masala and saute it for a while.

Add the tomato paste and mix well. Add the tata sampann masala and salt and saute till masala is well cooked.

Mix the marinated chicken into this masala and mix it well. Let it cook either covered in low sim or cook in a pressure cooker.

Once the chicken is well cooked after 15 mins and is soft add water as needed and bring to a boil. Add garam masala and remove.

Your masala chicken is ready to be served with paratha or rice. You can add potato into this dish if you like.
