Aloo Qeema. Here's a recipe for an authentic, homestyle, just-like-your-grandma's (if your grandma happens to be Pakistani) Aloo Keema. This is a traditional, one-pot recipe that's simple, easy-to make, and gives the most flavorful results! Aloo Keema is a popular Pakistani & North Indian dish consisting of curried, minced meat (keema) and potatoes (aloo).

Ingredients of Aloo Qeema

  1. It’s of Mutton Mince.

  2. It’s of Potatoes.

  3. You need of Onion.

  4. Prepare of Oil.

  5. It’s of Yogurt(dahi).

  6. You need of Ginger paste.

  7. It’s of Garlic paste.

  8. It’s of Red Chilli powder.

I know this entire recipe can be made with matar (aka peas) but it just won't be the same till there's at least one potato in it!

Keema aloo is a happy coming together of mutton or lamb mince, cubed potatoes and of course onions and tomatoes.

Aloo Qeema step by step

  1. Slice one onion & fry to golden pink in oil.add whole sabit garam masala in oil & fry.add ginger garlic paste fry till smells ends..

  2. Add qeema in pot.fry at low -medium heat till it changes colour.add beaten curd in it & mix well.add all spices in qeema mix.cover the lid & let it cook at low-medium heat..

  3. Qeema will cook in dahi & own water.check when water is almost drying,add potato cut in cubes and mix.add 1 cup water & let them cook at medium heat..

  4. When potatoes are tender & qeema leaves oil.sprinkle garam masala add chop green chillies I have used red chillies as well to enhance colour.garnish with fresh chop coriander & serve hot..
