Recipe: Appetizing Chenna curry/ fried cheese ball curry Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Chenna curry/ fried cheese ball curry. Chenna Tarkari is a curry made out of deep fried fresh chenna i.e fresh cottage cheese. This curry is made in almost every household in Odisha and West Bengal. Fresh chenna is kneaded till smooth and oily.

Give a pound of fresh chenna to a Bengali cook / chef and he /she will mold it into endless varieties of sondesh / sandesh or fudge, rosogolla / rasgulla. 'Chanar Kofta Curry' is nothing but a different version of 'Chanar Dalna'. 'Chanar Dalna' is Indian cottage cheese curry with potato.

But in this recipe I have not used potato and made the curry thicker.

Using cashew paste and fresh cream gives the gravy a smooth and silky texture.
