Raw mango chutney recipe (green mango chutney) - a yummy chutney recipe with bursting of mixed flavors like sweet, spicy, tangy.

The mango is roasted on direct flame.

This provides little smoky, charred flavor to the chutney.

Ingredients of Raw mango chutney

  1. It’s 1 of big raw mango.

  2. It’s 2 cup of brown sugar or jaggery powder.

  3. It’s 1 tbsp of fennel seeds.

  4. It’s 1 tbsp of mustard seeds.

  5. Prepare 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.

  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds.

  7. Prepare 1 tsp of kalonji or cayenne for color optional.

  8. You need 1 tbsp of methi seeds.

  9. It’s 1 tbsp of carom seeds.

  10. You need 1 cup of crushed almonds.

  11. It’s 1 tbsp of rock salt.

  12. You need 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.

  13. Prepare 1 tbsp of black pepper powder.

  14. It’s 1 tsp of turmeric.

  15. You need 1 tsp of garam masala.

  16. Prepare 1 tbsp of vinegar.

  17. It’s Half of cup sunflower oil.

  18. Prepare 1 tbsp of sesame seeds.

Raw Mango Chutney is a mixture of Raw Mango, Garlic, Green Chilies, Cumin Seeds, Coriander Leaves, Curry Leaves, Pudina, Ginger.

This chutney is eaten in different parts of India due to its vibrant flavour and lip-smacking taste.

This raw mango chutney has the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy to it.

Raw mango chutney step by step

  1. First dry roast all the seeds and separate dry roast spices too.take out separately in different bowls.

  2. Grate finely raw mango and make small pieces of jaggery..

  3. Remember I prefer jaggery so for one mango chutney 3 to 4 small pieces of jaggery crushed needed..

  4. Make oil hot in same pan and put roasted seeds and spices together.again cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Now add grated mango and jaggery powder or sugar and cook at low flame.keep mixing well until jaggery start melting.

  6. Just keep cooking to dry the whole water come from mango and jaggery or sugar.now add kalonji and vinegar.

  7. Enjoy yumm chutney.stay safe stay.

It can be eaten as a relish.

It is the perfect accompaniment to your rice meals.
