To begin making the Aloo Masala Puri recipe, firstly add wheat flour to mashed potato along with red chili powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, turmeric powder, carom seeds, fennel seeds, sesame seeds, coriander leaves, salt and oil.

  1. In a mixing bowl take 500 gm. Wheat flour. Add 3 boiled & grated potatoes, 1 bowl Methi leaves (washed & chopped), 1 tsp. Sesame seeds (til), 1/2 tsp. Haldi powder, 1 tsp. Red chilli powder, 2 chopped green chillis, 1 tbsp. Chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp. Ginger garlic paste (optional), 1/4 tsp. Hing, 1/4 tsp. Jeera powder, 1/4 tsp. Jeera seeds, 1/4 tsp. Ajwain (carrom seeds), 1 tsp. Sugar, 1 tsp. Lemon juice and salt as per taste..

  2. Mix all the ingredients properly with your hand knead a hard dough by adding little water at a time, now add some oil on it & make the dough little smooth. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes again knead the dough and make it smooth. Now make small balls of it and roll all the puris and keep ready for deep frying…

  3. Heat good amount of cooking oil in a pan, as its hot drop the prepared puri carefully in it and fry them on medium to high flame and fry until golden in colour. Fry on both sides and remove on and absorbant paper. And our METHI ALU MASALA PURI'S are ready…A very healthy and tasty snack..
