  1. You need 1 kg of Lauki.

  2. Prepare 1 kg of Sugar.

  3. You need 150 gram of Khoya.

  4. You need 1 tsp of Cardamom powder.

  6. It’s 3-4 tablespoons of Pure ghee.

Dudhi halwa or lauki halwa is an Indian sweet made from bottle gourd, sugar, and milk.

Lauki halwa instructions

  1. First wash and grate lauki and keep it in ice cold water so that it won’t turn black.

  2. Next make cardamom powder and chop pistachios and mash the khoya once all things are ready start cooking.

  3. Take a non stick cookwear dish and drain all the water from lauki and take all the amount of grated lauki let the water soake well keep it on low flame that it’s little softer then open the lid and add ghee to it then fry well till the smell of vegetable is gone and it separates ghee.

  4. Then add sugar, cardamom powder, strands of saffron, food colour, khoya then mix well and fry for 3-5 minutes.

  5. Once all things cooked well then of the flame and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.

  6. Then serve it with pistachios & silver warq garnishing it’s as tastier ever 👌👌.
