My Moms Potato Soup. I know there are a lot of potato soup recipes on here, but this is the best I have ever had. The onion flavor adds a little something extra, and it is so easy and delicious. Everyone loves this soup.even my incredibly picky roommate.

You can have My Moms Potato Soup using 8 ingredients and 1 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of My Moms Potato Soup

  1. Prepare 12 medium of sized potatoes.

  2. Prepare 1 of Yellow onion.

  3. You need 1 of Milk.

  4. It’s 1/2 tsp of Cumin seed.

  5. You need 1 tsp of Garlic pwder.

  6. Prepare 1 tsp of Ground nutmeg.

  7. Prepare 1 cup of Real butter.

  8. You need 1 of Salt and pepper.

Put all vegetables in a large pot.

Pour in milk and fill with water until vegetables are all covered.

After bringing to a boil turn the heat down.

Peel potatoes and cut into bite-size cubes.

My Moms Potato Soup instructions

  1. peel & Chop potatoes into bite size chunks also chop onion & boil (not to long you dont want your potaoes falling apart) drain leave about 2 in of water in pan fill your pot about 2 in above potatoes with milk add butter and spices let cook about 15 more min and serve!.
