Mom's Kheema Masala (Minced Meat). This recipe for Indian masala kheema, or meat mince, can be made with any meat you prefer—chicken, lamb, pork, goat meat, or any combination such as minced pork and veal—but has become synonymous with lamb as this is a pantry staple in India. Masala kheema is a flavorful combination of onion, garlic, ginger, spices, meat, and tomatoes, making a comforting dish that is easily accessible. Notes: Minced Mutton or Chicken can be used in this recipe.

Lightly heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel.

You need 1/2 kg of Minced Meat.

You need 2 large of Onions.

You need 3 of chopped green chillies.

You need 3 tbsp of Oil.

You need 1 tbsp of corriander powder.

You need 1 1/2 tbsp of Ginger Garlic Paste.

It’s 1 1/2 tbsp of chilli powder.

It’s 3/4 tbsp of cumin powder.

It’s 1/4 tbsp of turmeric.

It’s 3/4 tbsp of garam masala.

You need 3/4 tbsp of meat masala.

You need 1 of salt to taste.

You need 2 cup of water.

You need 1 of chopped coriander leaves.
Add the onions, green chillies, cumin seeds, cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon and bay leaves.
Saute the onions on a low flame till they turn golden.
Add the washed keema, salt and mix well.
Cover the vessel with a lid with some water on it.
Mom's Kheema Masala (Minced Meat) step by step

The Minced meat is of goat but lamb meat can be used as well.DO NOT MAKE THIS RECIPE WITH CHICKEN MEAT..

Add oil and chopped onions n fry till its slightly brown. add slit green chillies to it..

wash the meat n drain water. add this to the onions with salt n mix well.

After few mins add Ginger garlic paste.mix it well n keep on medium flame to let it cook untill da ginger, garlic n meat smell goes away.it means that he water from the meat has dried off.

now add all the spices one by one along with salt n mix well. after mixing add 2 cups or 1glass water n let it boil away till abt 8 -10mins with lid on.

keep till desired thickness, garnish with coriander leaves.
Kheema Masala can be made with Mutton, Beef or even Chicken Minced Meat.
