So here is the mutton dum biryani recipe which does not require patience and can be cooked quite easily just with the help of a tenderizer.

  2. You need of Mutton.

  3. Prepare of Onions.

  4. It’s of Garlic.

  5. You need of Ginger.

  6. You need of Green Chillies.

  7. Prepare of Small Shallots.

  8. Prepare of Tomato.

  9. You need of Lemon.

  10. You need of Yoghurt.

  11. You need of Mint Leaves.

Mutton Dum Biryani step by step

  1. Slice onions & crush garlic, small shallots, green chillies & ginger. Mix it with coriander leaves, mint leaves, pandan leaves, tomato, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, half cup coconut oil, ghee & salt. Cook the mix..

  2. Add Mutton into the mix along with half cup of yoghurt. Cook & make sure the gravy is thick..

  3. Fry sliced onions, raisins & cashews in ghee separately..

  4. Cook the rice (75%) with salt, bay leaves, fennel, cinnamon, clove, cardamom & star anise..

  5. Spread ghee on the base of a bigger cooking vessel. Place half the gravy. Then add half the rice on top of it evenly (till you cant see the gravy). Add coriander & mint leaves along with the sliced pineapples, fried onions, cashews & raisins on the rice..

  6. Add remaining curry as next layer & then the rice on top of that (repeating the above procedure). Drizzle some ghee over the rice. Drizzle some coconut milk. Seal the lid on top of the vessel with flour dough. Put on low flame till Masala settles..

It is a rice dish made with mutton, rice, herbs & aromatic spices.

It is prepared with layering the basmati rice over the cooked mutton with herbs & spices in a biryani pot (or any heavy bottom pan).
