COCONUT - ROASTED BENGAL GRAM CHUTNEY | THENGAI THUVAYAL. Thengai Thogayal is a traditional and simple rice accompaniment prepared using coconut as a main ingredient. It's usually served with hot rice and spoon of gingelly oil or ghee. It can be prepared quickly and perfect for the busy days.

Coconut thuvayal is a very simple recipe.

Instead of using green chillies, we use red chillies in this chutney and it will be very tasty too.

I like to have with idli, upma and even I.

  1. Prepare 1/2 cup of Coconut.

  2. Prepare 1/4 cup of Roasted bengal gram.
