Moong dal appam step by step

Soak moong dal for 6 to 7 hrs, grind it adding garlic clove. Make thick batter like dahi wada batter. (if batter is waterly wont be able to make appe).

Add chopped green chilles, onion, coriander, grated carrot salt. Mix well. Squeeze half or full lemon in it (according to taste) mix well for 2 minutes..

Pre heat appam pan, grease it with oil or ghee. Put the batter in it. Let it cook on medium flame. Cover the appam pan with lid. Once get little dark brown turn the appe and let it cooked for 2 minutes. Serve the cripsy appe with green chutney..
