Manipuri mangal ootti curry instructions

First, take soaked yellow peas, drain and wash it. Transfer it into the cooker, add sufficient water and salt. Cook it until 2 whistles come out..

Now take add 2 tsp mustard oil, now add cumin seed, bay leaf. Now add chopped onion and green chilli. Cook until onion becomes golden. Now add tomato and ginger. Cook until they become soft. Then add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well..

Now add boiled yellow peas with water. Cook it for 5-7 minutes. Mangal ootti curry is ready..
