You need 1 bowl of Leftover khichdi.

You need 1 bowl of Wheat flour.

Prepare 1 tsp of besan / gram flour.

You need 2 tsp of ginger,garlic,chilli paste.

You need 3 tsp of Fresh Coriander.

You need 2 tsp of green garlic.

It’s to taste of Salt.

Prepare 1 pinch of Haldi / turmeric.

Prepare 1 pinch of Hing / asafoetida.

Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli.

You need 2 tsp of and for frying Oil.
Plain Khichadi is a great meal to have in itself.
But I always look forward to having left-over Khichadi because there are so many things you can do with it like making a Masala Khichadi for next day breakfast or making Khichadi Theplas (stay tuned for recipe).
This recipe of thepla, it is totally full proof recipe because it is made from leftover khichadi/ plain rice.
I don't recommend using leftover pulav because all the vegetables in the pulav.
Leftover khichdi thepla instructions

Take a mixing bowl for making dough now add dalt,turmeric,ginger,garlic,green chilli paste,green garlic,asafoetida,gram flour,fresh Coriander, oil, besan mix them now add khichadi and four and make a dough, if required add some water.

Now make equal balls from dough and make roll out like roti or paratha and fry on nonstick tava with oil two side so ready now transfer to plate garnish with cheese or butter serve with curd or hot tea.
Those vegetables make rolling the thepla harder.
How to make Khichdi Roti Recipe.
To begin making the Khichdi Roti recipe, cut out a large baking paper to the size of your tava and smear it with some oil.
In a mixing bowl add khichdi (use room temperature or cold, hot kichdi will get messy), enough rice flour, very little salt to adjust the seasoning and chopped onions.
Bhaat Na Thepla's are flat breads made from leftover rice; that is combined with gram flour, asafoetida and vegetables to make a wholesome nutritious one dish dinner.
