  1. First boil the maize and green peas until soft..

  2. Wash all your vegetables then Chop your onions and tomatoes..

  3. In a generous amount of cooking oil, First stir fry your onions then add tomatoes..

  4. Next add your potatoes and cook until the potatoes are cooked. They are ready when a fork goes through the potatoes..

  5. Lastly add your maize and peas mixture and stir. Add salt to taste then stir. Its ready..

  6. For the cabbage, use a table spoon of cooking oil then steam/stir fry until cooked..

  7. Serve the githeri with cabbage to complete a balanced diet. Enjoy..
